GOD is not dead. He is Alive!

A while ago I was watching the movie entitled “God is nor Dead”. It was about story of different people and their faith. One of the character there is a Professor in a University teaching Introductory in Philosophy and he forced his students to write on the piece of paper three word together with their sign as a proof that they are agreeing to what they wrote. And the three words was GOD IS DEAD. Of course if you're a student and you want to pass the subject you will just put those three words closed eyes together with your signature, but there is a Christian student who can't do what his professor asked him to do. So the professor asked the student to just drop the class or make him prove to him and to the class that God is not really dead or else he will be automatically failed in his class. His family and girlfriend told him not to do it and just drop the class so that he will not have any problem. Her girlfriend also told her and if she did it she probably would split to him because it feels that she is irresponsible and doesn't think of their future. But he really feels that God is talking to him so...he pushed it. He make some research and presentations and try his best to prove in class that God exist...

Other character there is a India-national college girl (im not really sure but she has the cover all over her face) and her father was very traditional and doesn't believe in Christ but she was converted as christian maybe more than a year ago and kept it secret to her family. One time, as she was listening to podcast of a pastor's message she was caught by her brother and told it their father. So, her father asked her to just deny Christ but She can't because she knows in her heart that Christ died for all her sins and He is her loving Lord and savior. At the end, she was kicked out in their home.

I was really moved by the two stories above because in the midst of the persecutions and pressure they received in their family, friends and others, they just let the world know that Christ is their Lord and savior. They let the world know that they are here and they are created for one main reason and that is to honor God. As the bible says “who ever acknowledge before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But who ever denies me, I will denies him before my Father in heaven” - Matt. 10:33.



Unlike me, Honoring God and worshiping Him should not be that hard because I live in a Christian country, Catholic school and Christian family. I do not live where the Christians should be beheaded or or School with Antichrist professor or family that do not believe in Christ. So I don't have any reason not to right? So I must stand for my faith. To be what am I made for. To Honor God.

Surviving Sagada. Wiw!

When I got married, one of my top places to visit in the Philippines is Sagada (together with El Nido, Bicol, Hundred Islands, Cagayan Valley and Coron) Way back 2009, our church had a Mission Camp at Mt. Praise Assemblies of God in Sagada, which is also affiliated in our church in Manila. We had our bible study, prayer meeting, visitations and others. Oh I must admit I missed those sometimes. Although we had our rest and recreation time, we never had the chance to try the cave connection. When we went in the mouth of the cave, it rained. They make me believe that even in the littlest rain, it is unsafe to enter in the cave. (but later I found out that this is not true) Haha. So from there on I long to try the cave connection. My longing was revived when we saw the movie “That Thing called Tadhana” when the main setting was in Baguio and in Sagada. risk?

Taking every risk. Leaving everyone behind. Or the dreams to be forgotten. All the plans that were set aside. Everything was done for you. But as the saying says “the higher the risk the greater the reward or the punishment” but I know in my heart whatever will it be I know what reward will  I gain in the near future so all I can say is ALL THE RISKS ARE WORTH IT 'coz you are worth fighting for.
