Engagement Post Part 2

Pangarap to ni Gerald eh. Pedestrian shot. Pero sana naka corpo attire. haha!

Here’s my utang of engagement prenup post!

We had our prenup shot last July 24, 2016.

Earlier this year we already booked our Photographer and videographer because I read blogs that aside from venue and caterer, photo and video are the priority suppliers.

So, we joined different wedding, actually, my mind was already closed that I want to book supplier “A” because (1) they are cheap, (2) they had many freebies such as save the date, SDE, photoalbum. Etc.ect. and (3) they are cheap. Although, I read negative feedbacks about them, still I want to book them because as I’ve said a while ago my mind was “closed”.

Sino mag aakala na highstreet lang to?

My Fiancé was very vocal that he don’t want supplier “A”. So we looked for different suppliers. I offered him list of different photographer and videographer. Pros, cons and prices. As in full analysis. Guess what? No one passed! Hahaha. Partly I am frustrated because in the first place what I want was just an affordable photo&videographer. With series of wedding fairs and internet hunts, finally, someone capture his heart. Haha. He fell in love with jay’s work. We met our photographer on one of many wedding fairs we attended. This one was different from other wedding fairs that we attended because Ger and I were with my MBA buds. Supposedly we were going to book another supplier but when he saw Jay, he told me that we should consider him. Which, I was half hearted because (1) he was not so affordable (2) he is an Engineer by profession and (3) he was not so affordable. Haha!

So, as our usual wedding fairs, we book nothing. Haha.

But because I am a very submissive girlfriend… I texted Jay if we can still get the wedding fair discount even if we don’t book during the fair. And he said yes!

I planned to have a prenup shoot earlier this year. Perhaps, April or May because we really wanted to have an outside venue.

But we were so busy and to our surprise it was already July! Rainy season is coming…

With faith, claiming that July 24 will be a sunny day we texted Jay if he’s free. He said yes! We were blessed to have him as our photographer because he was very accommodating… haha!

We had a very sunny week that week, but comes Saturday, the rain poured so hard… I really prayed to God to have a better weather next day.

With that, I also want to take this opportunity to testify how faithful God is. Grabe lang ung provision ni Lord. By faith talaga ang pagpili namin ng July for an outside photoshoot dba? When we got home, that’s the time that the rain poured so hard!

Our theme was very simple.
It was more on “casual and corporate theme” as in parang hindi pinagisipan…

In the midst of busy life we found each other. Haha. Chos. Parang we want to show na parang lunch break lang tapos “tara, tanan tayo sa tagaytay...” Ganun kasimple. So we decided to have it on BGC highstreet and Ayala-Makati (heart of corporate world!). Also, we decided na no stylist, no props, no bongang wardrobe. We just brought what we have in our closet.

PS: ung shoes lang talaga na converse ang pinagastusan namin.. :D

PS2: engr, wag mo naman gamitin ng gamitin. hahahaha!

o diba lunch break. mejo akward lang ung lakad ko. hehehehe
this one was Aldub inspired.. (gusto ko ipa photoshop ung tissue!)
