Year of provisions, miracles and breakthroughs!

The year 2016 was indeed a year of provisions, miracles and breakthroughs!
Every start of the year, Gerald and I list down all our faith goals and offer to God all these and put our hope in Him. We believe that all these plans and desires are according to His will, good, pleasing and perfect.Whenever I looked back on 2016, I can’t help myself but to be in tears with wonder and great awe. It was really a year of grace. God’s grace! The revelation of God’s steadfast love for me was very evident last 2016 and always His mercies are new each day. I know that as a human full of sin don’t deserve this kind of blessings but he gave it anyway. And I thought this blog was a nice way to share my testimonies and breakthroughs for the year 2016!
I put those phrases last January 2016 to declare and claim. It was!

We are. We really are..
We are really thankful to God for the following:

1. I’ve got engaged and married to the man of my dreams, the man I need most.

Ok. Reminiscing my wedding makes me speechless. Until now I am in cloud nine or should I say I, uhm, I am grateful. I can't explain how we get through it, thinking the plans, the people, the financial needs and others..
We got engaged last February of 2016 (our engagement story here). We already decided that 2016 will be the year for us to get married. So, we planned our wedding without thinking where we will get our finances. We did not have enough savings in our pockets plus I had my personal expenses in paying my tuition fee. Well, studying MBA in a private school is dependent on God’s power and trusting in His provisions! He used people (blessed them, oh God) to bless us financially. It is really true that “if God’s will, it’s His bill”. The strength and patience God gave us last 2016 to handle both the preparation for the wedding and my study was sufficient for us not to take for granted either of the two. I am also blessed to have Gerald as my fiancĂ© that time. He is understanding, patient, emotionally matured and most especially he makes me feel that I am well loved. <3
God orchestrated everything that day, such as the weather, the guests, the venue and our hearts. We felt His love showered upon us. We believe that our wedding is from God. “Marriage is a gift, it cannot be bought. It is a gift of life….”

2. Went to Palawan twice!

One was this,, the other was on our honeymoon. I will post separate entry for our honeymoon. I want to make it detailed and entertaining. haha

3. Career Growth for Us.

I’ve been praying to the Lord for the work place where I will grow and learn new things. I got to work in Microtel and so far I am enjoying the job. <3 I got to know the real essence of what CPA should be. Gerald got promoted last quarter of 2015 and gained knowledge on his new role and able to applied it in 2016.

4. I’ve got my MBA degree.

At first, I was hesitant to pursue my oral defence last year. I was not sure if I was ready to present my paper but God reminded me of His faithfulness. The same thing He did when I passed the board exam, truly He is the same yesterday, today and forever. I, together with my friends, passed our last defence. I believe it was because of God’s Grace alone. Yay. #squadgoals. Hihi. Our graduation will be this Feb! I am so so so excited. <3

5. We joined Victory group and attended the Victory Weekend.

Gerald and I had been praying for a discipleship group for us to have a community in our church and God answered our prayer.  We have found new friends that will keep us on track in our journey for deeper relationship with God.  This year we’re done with our Victory weekend! Yehey!

All the honor, glory and praises belong only to Him!
