The Millennial Pamamanhikan
As we all know I was engaged last February 14, 2016! See my previous my Engagement Blog Post here.
We already announced to everyone that yes, were getting married!!!
We still need to have a Pamamanhikan. It wasn't really the traditional pamamanhikan because in the Philippines, when you say pamamanhikan, this is the event when the guy/groom’s family comes to the home of the girl/bride’s family with the purpose of “asking the girl’s parents’ permission to wed the affianced pair.” A tradition that shows respect and honor for the girl’s parents before getting married. That's why I can say that it was Pamamanhikan the Millennial Version. Kasi before this gathering our wedding is all set already. haha. But still it is still nice to meet the in-law before the wedding diba? <3 At first, we were thinking to have the event in our house in Project 4 however, we thought it would be hassle on our part if we push it there because we need to clean it pa. Haha!My father makes parinig that we might consider Four Sesons by Vikings. Since last year, one of my bucket list is to have a birthday celebration with our siblings, why not consider that suggestion. We reserved the VIP room for 12 person. It was really nice place to have a small talks. Good thing we did! Because outside the function room it was so loud.It was also our birthday celebration since Gerald and I both October Celebrant! <3So tipid, right?
